Questionable Teachings of Islam:

One Billion People Deceived

Was Muhammad really visited by an "angel of God" with the revelation to establish Islam
as the only "true religion" on earth? Did God really declare that Jews, Christians,
atheists and even moderate Muslims should be persecuted and killed for not accepting or
conforming to the Islamic way of life? That is what fundamental Islam teaches and that
is exactly what prompts Muslim terror groups to engage in their global jihad (Holy War)
against non-Muslims and even against moderate Muslims who seek to make peace with
Jews and Christians. The present day terror cells are prompted by fundamental Islamic
clerics who preach from the Qur'an in the way that Muhammad preached to his armies.

There is only one truth to this matter. Either the angel, Gabriel (Jibreel), that appeared to
Muhammad was really sent by the God of Creation, or Muhammad was deceived by a
ministering spirit that was not of God at all.

Islam is not alone in claiming "angelic" revelations as the basis for their faith. Numerous
other religions have been established by charismatic leaders who claim that they had
similar "visitations" to lead people to the truth and large denominations have been
established from such teachings. This is the reason why people should be allowed to
question the things they are being told to believe as a matter of testing the validity of
religious leaders.

The fact that Muslims are not allowed to question the teaching of Islam at all should be
suspect due to the fact that they would no longer be under the total control that Islam
imposes upon its followers. As a type of "safeguard," Muhammad prohibited the Qur'an
from being taken on journeys where it could be read and debated by non-Muslims,
thus, prohibiting his followers from being exposed to alternatives of religious thought. This
type of control is used by tyrannical regimes in a closed society where the thought process
of its citizenry are not allowed to be exposed to any other ideology. The fact that Muslims
are threatened with death if they should choose another religion is evidence that they are
being withheld from searching out for the truth on their own.
