Questionable Teachings of Islam:

                                  One Billion People Deceived

According to the Qur'an, Muhammad is not required to set people on the "right path"
because Allah has already decided who will be on the right path and who will not be:

"It is not required of thee (O Messenger), to set them on the right path, but Allah sets on
the right path whom He pleaseth..." (Qur'an: 002.272)

The verse, above, is another example from the Qur'an verifying that Islam teaches the
predestination of souls. And, if Muhammad was not required to set people on the right
path - then his prophethood was in vain.

By contrast, Jesus Christ came into the world specifically to provide the path of Salvation
for anyone who would receive Him by faith:

Jesus said: "I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in
and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am
the Good Shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." (John 10:9-11)

Analysis: The comparison between Islam and Christianity indicates a vast difference
regarding how mankind receives eternal salvation. While the New Testament presents
salvation by God's Grace through faith in Christ, the Qur'an indicates that Allah and an
angel have already predetermined at the birth of each Muslim which ones will enter
Paradise and which ones will be destined for Hell. In addition, Islam, like many other
religions, teaches that each follower is obligated to follow specific traditions and rituals on
a daily basis. They claim that the most faithful worker will be rewarded with higher
positions in Paradise. Such theology creates a burdensome life for each individual who
struggles to comply with each precept of the doctrinal laws and traditions that are
expected of him or her. Failure to meet the obligatory requirements usually leaves one
with a sense of inadequacy and hopeless despair as they continue in life-long efforts to
"work" their way into Paradise, never knowing if they have done enough "good works".
