Questionable Teachings of Islam:

                                  One Billion People Deceived

Today, the Arabic people claim their descendancy to Abraham through Ishmael; and the
Jews claim their descendancy to Abraham through Isaac. While the Torah account states
that Ishmael would be blessed by God, the Covenant that God promised to Abraham was
to be established with Isaac, the son born to Abraham and his wife, Sarah.)

        The Torah reads:

“And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name
Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his
seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and
will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget,
and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which
Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.” (Genesis: 17:19-21)

For inquiring minds: Abraham's age was 86 years old when he fathered Ishmael with the
        handmaiden, Hagar.
Abraham was 100 years old when he fathered Isaac with his wife, Sarah.

The account of future ancestral troubles between the people descending from Ishmael and
other nations is also mentioned. In this account, Sarah regrets that she had allowed Hagar
to be a surrogate mother, and caused Hagar to flee the household while yet in her
pregnancy. Hagar flees but is encountered by an angel of God who instructs her to return
to the household of Abraham and Sarah:

“..Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. ..I will multiply thy seed
exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son,
and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he will
        be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him;
and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” (Genesis: 16:9-12)

In the following segment, the comparison is made on how Islam and Christianity each
have a differing belief and understanding about the person of Jesus.
