Questionable Teachings of Islam:
One Billion People Deceived
One questionable teaching in Islamic theology teaches that Allah will reward Jesus with
"one-thousand" wives for his faithfulness:
"Allah, the Highest, revealed to Jesus: 'O Jesus, travel from one place to another least
you should be known and harmed by My Might and My Glory.
I will let you marry a thousand Houris* and I will make a feast for four hundred years for
you.'"

* The term "Houris" refers to a special creation of virgin women, in Islamic theology.
Christianity teaches that Jesus remained unmarried and did not procreate children of His
own as other religions may teach. Contrary to the Islamic text noted above, there are no
"marriages" in heaven.
"Jesus said...Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the
resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God
in heaven." (Matthew 22:29-30)
There is one reference indicating a type of marriage between Christ and His Spiritual
Church as indicated in the following context:
"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps,
and went forth to meet the bridegroom." (Matthew 25:1)
"And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." (Revelation 21:2)
Analysis: It is quite obvious that the Islamic Jesus and the New Testament Jesus are not
the same. Thus, when Muslims speak of "Jesus" in an admiring way, they are NOT referring
to the Jesus whom Christians trust in as being The Lord and Saviour of mankind.
