Questionable Teachings of Islam:
One Billion People Deceived
Regarding Jesus:
The subject of Jesus Christ is the most controversial within the religious and even the
secular world. To the Jewish people, Jesus is known as "Yeshua," and, within Islam, Jesus
is called "Isa." Orthodox Judaism and all sects of Islam do not regard Jesus as being the
Divine Son of God nor the personal Savior of mankind as taught within Messianic
Judaism/Christianity.
There is ONLY One Truth about Yeshua/Jesus:
If it is true that Jesus is the Son of God and the Way the Truth and the Life, then it is
true that a person cannot come to God without Him. (John 14:6)
However, if Jesus was only a "messenger" and not the Divine Son of God, as taught within
Islam, then Muslim people must earn their own way to heaven, as taught by all other
religions that reject the Divinity and Sacrificial Atonement of Jesus.
This section addresses how Islamic theology teaches a different Jesus when compared to
the faith of Messianic Judaism/Christianity:
The Islamic "Jesus" compared with Christian belief:
Islamic theology teaches that Jesus was to be called "the son of Mary:"
"Behold! the angels said: 'O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his
name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter
and of (the company of) those nearest Allah;"
(Qur'an:003.045-047)
The New Testament states that only one angel appeared and made the following
declaration:
"And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and
the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall
be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." (Luke 1:35)
